The Village of Mazon contracts with Republic Service for refuse service. Regular trash day is Friday of each week. Have your trash and recyclable bins at the road by 6am on Friday. You may place one large item per week along with your regular trash. Republic service does not accept the following: Car parts, tires, appliances, building supplies, chemicals, or paint. Unlimited yard waste is picked up by Republic Services every Friday from the first pick up in April until the last regular pick up in November of each year. Yard waste must be in paper sacks or a 35 gallon or less can clearly marked YARD WASTE. You may place sticks and twigs no more then 3 feet in length and no more then 40 pounds tied with string along with your yard waste.
